The Kid has arrived and we are officially on our "vacation". We're not going anywhere, so it's not exactly a vacation. Basically... we're just not working for a week, which is good enough for us.
Leonard and Penny had their second visit with their parents today. The Wife picked them up from daycare and when she asked if they were ready to go see their mom and dad, Leonard just said, "I want to go home" (in reference to our house). Once at the visit, Penny informed the supervisor at the agency that she had a big sister... in reference to The Kid. So yeah... they're settling right in. After not napping at daycare due to the visits, the three of us were fully prepared for a major meltdown from Leonard, but The Kid was able to keep him entertained enough that dinner, bathtime and even bedtime went smoothly. Even The Kid was in bed at 8:20 tonight.
Like I posted the other day, we have a big week planned and we intend on having the camera with us every step of the way. Lots of pictures to come... or at least that's the plan.
