We got our new temporary license today from the agency. We still have the official state inspection pending, but we can get another placement now.
Obviously, I called the agency right away to let them know that we were ready and willing to take a baby. The only exception is that the baby has to be at least six weeks old, due to the rules of daycare. The last time I called the agency and told them that we were ready, it was about six hours before we got a call. I don't know how this one will go, but they're on the clock now.
