We came home and the popular opinion was that I should carve the pumpkin to look like a dog. I got as close as I could. Pictures to come.
There are a lot of blogs out there from the female perspective on fostering/adopting. The Wife kept telling me that everyone would love to read something from the male perspective... so here it is... hope everyone enjoys it.

The Cider Mill, Revisited
Technically, our visit was for the pumpkin patch, but it was to the same place as we went a couple of weeks ago. The Kid wasn't with us on the last trip, plus we needed some pumpkins for Halloween. The apple cider donuts also deserved a second round. The kids were all very excited for the giant slide and just the general idea of the pumpkin patch. It's a real shame that the aroma of rotting pumpkins had overtaken the actual field where they were supposed to be found. The Kid, Leonard and Penny attempted to find some pumpkins to take home, but in the end, we had to buy the pumpkins that were up at the front entrance. The rest of them were either mushy or super green and weird.
