I really have no idea where she got her blogname. I think it was just the first thing that came to mind when I was writing the first blog she appeared in.
She's leaving too. Her last day is next Friday. She sent out a nice email to all of the families that she works with and let us know that we would be in good hands, no matter who we were assigned to after she's gone. I think that's just something people say. It's not like she can say, "sucks to be you, good luck". Kate has been really fun to talk to and even helped us in getting a baby placed with us. She shares our love of everything Ikea and even told us that we were providing a very good foster home for all of the kids. She has been very helpful all along the way and seems like someone that we would maybe even be friends with, if it hadn't been more of a working relationship with her. Just like with Marty, we wish her the best of luck... but we still don't have to like it.
